So like…

I’m glad I kept my cool today when I saw you just appear out of the blue, not expecting to have encountered you AT ALL. I paid no attention to your presence, not even acknowledging you and carried on with my practice. I’m pretty glad that you had only stayed for a few minutes turning in some paperwork for this stupid dance audition thing going on. If you would have stayed any longer I don’t think I could have endured the awkwardness between us. As you said your goodbyes to everyone including me, I did not give in, not even the slightest bit.

Just seeing a glimpse of you kind of made me frustrated all over again and angry. I feel so bottled up inside, but I am really trying to keep my cool because I know I am better than this. Smh… this is annoying.

Jubilee

Okay so I didn’t even expect to go, it was a 20 dollar entrance fee to watch all these bands play along with these clothing vendors set-up and food to buy. It did not seem worth while, but i went anyways and camped out with a friend of mine waiting for people to leave and possibly get their wrist bands to gain entry to the Jubilee. Upon waiting to see if people would cast off their wrist bands; we walked around for a bit, grabbed a bite to eat at El Pollo Loco and decided to head back. We were at the traffic light waiting for the green signal to go, and this girl walks up to me sparking up a conversation. It caught me off guard because usually girls don’t go up to me doing things such as that haha. We were hitting it off, we kept the conversation flowing and running smoothly I can practically remember everything she told me.

Wow she was very pretty, although normally I have keen eyes when it comes to females (might sound wrong, but its true) I tend to remember everything I see based on their appearance on a short amount of time I spend with them. Unfortunately, I can’t recall much, but one thing I will definitely remember from her is that dazzling smile. Her dazzling smile under that night sky that lit up my world for that moment of time that I spent with her as we made our way to the show. Too bad I wasn’t able to get her name nor get into the show at that time because I didn’t have a wrist band. She tried to sneak me in, but the security guy checked people’s wrist and he didn’t let me in, so she had to let me go and made her way in.

Only until then like 10 minutes later was I able to find a wrist band and then I was able to go in. However, by then I had lost her and couldn’t find her so I roamed around hoping I would run into her. I enjoyed the show, this one particular band played Soul which was really hype and entertaining. I had her on my mind the whole time for the next couple of hours. In the end I didn’t catch her, but hey it still made my night I am very pleased to have carried a conversation with her earlier for a good few minutes before she left.

And that was the highlight of my night. Things do come unexpectedly in life and to me those are the best :)
